Abstract

The article describes a document published in the web-based Ukrainian Electronic Encyclopedia of Education. It presents the Instructional and Methodological Recommendations on the Introduction and Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Secondary Education Institutions. The Recommendations outline an approach to the responsible, ethical, and effective use of generative artificial intelligence tools in general secondary education settings. The draft of the Recommendations was developed in 2024 by a working group of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with the participation of Olha Pinchuk. In 2025, the Recommendations were officially approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Letter dated 29 September 2025, No. 1/20386-25 “On the methodological recommendations on the introduction and use of AI technologies in general secondary education institutions”).
