Abstract

The article is devoted to the psychological aspects of the continuity and prospects of children of preschool and primary school age. This topic is considered in two dimensions: a psychological analysis of the transition period from preschool to primary school age is given, and this transition period is described from the standpoint of continuity and prospects in the development of the child's personality. The essence of continuity in the educational process of preschoolers and younger students is considered. The requirements for the implementation of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of children during the transition from preschool to primary school age are presented.
