Abstract

The article is devoted to the fine arts heritage Shevchenko in question in relation to the poetic, because of the uniqueness of creation and perception of verbal and visual images. Substantiates the impact of creativity painter Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian culture, the power of his genius has become an equal member of the pan-cultural dialogue. We consider a variety of genre Kobzar’s paintings (portraits, genre scenes, landscapes, paintings of biblical, historical, and literary subjects, book illustrations, etc.). Masterfully executed in various techniques of painting, they constitute the foundation for further direction to the intellectual effort of nations to develop the philosophy of Ukrainian idea of ethical and aesthetic and mental foundation.
