Abstract

The article examines the key changes for the construction sector in Ukraine within the context of the "Build Back Better" (BBB) concept. It outlines current directions for training construction personnel, as well as systematizes and details the main risks and challenges in training construction workers, adapting them to the modern realities of Ukraine. The author proposes their own vision for the main ways to solve the outlined problems in education for the construction industry. The expediency of integrating VR technology into the training of builders is substantiated to address the primary challenge of education during wartime. A step-by-step sequence for integrating VR into vocational education is proposed. Furthermore, the paper provides an overview of specific products and companies specializing in VR/AR solutions for the construction industry and vocational education, including numerous Ukrainian providers.
