Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of forming digital competence of scientists who are involved in working with webbased information systems and are editors of the “Ukrainian Electronic Encyclopedia of Education”. The ways of forming digital competence of scientists in the process of using web-based information systems to support the conceptual and terminological apparatus of pedagogy and psychology are investigated and the conclusion is made about the need for theoretical and practical training of editors of the electronic encyclopedia and the implementation of self-educational activities and self-development in working with authors of articles. Among the types of training, such types of classes as trainings and monthly seminars are distinguished. The experience of organizing training of editors in working with a web-based information system at trainings and monthly seminars is described. The content of classes aimed at strengthening knowledge of the algorithm for posting electronic articles and acquiring practical skills for posting electronic articles in a web-based information system is described. The important achievements of editors in training in posting electronic articles and exchange of experience are described. The focus is on the positive results obtained in training editors for practical work on adding articles to the electronic encyclopedia. The main components of the editors' digital competence include basic knowledge of wiki markup, knowledge of semantic wiki markup, practical skills in using UEEO wiki templates, uploading articles to the repository and using multimedia objects of various types for articles, and the ability to correctly use semantic properties to structure the content of articles.
