Abstract

Methodological recommendations prepared by scientists from the V. A. Roments General Psychology and History of Psychology Laboratory at the G. S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine address the issue of helping military personnel overcome traumatic experiences. The methodological recommendations analyse the psychological prerequisites and theoretical and practical approaches to overcoming traumatic experiences of military personnel. Psychological and pedagogical measures and technologies for promoting post-traumatic growth in military personnel are presented, and practical recommendations for promoting post-traumatic growth in military personnel are provided. The methodological recommendations are addressed to psychologists, researchers, practical psychologists, educators, medical and social workers, as well as those interested in the problems of rehabilitation activities with military personnel in Ukraine.
