Abstract

The conference paper outlines the fundamental principles for the development of professional digital competence among instructors of vocational- theoretical training in the context of digital and blended learning, which have become dominant under the conditions of the pandemic, martial law, and post-war recovery. It is emphasized that the digital transformation of education functions not only as a technical tool but also as a strategic factor in the professional growth of teaching staff. The content-related and technological dimensions of this competence are specified. The content-related aspect focuses on the instructors’ ability to navigate the principles of digital pedagogy, ensure effective interaction with learners in online and blended environments, and create adaptive educational settings. The technological aspect examines the impact of modern digital solutions, in particular the use of adaptive learning platforms, learning management systems, and the integration of Smart ecosystem tools into the educational process. Special attention is given to the need for systemic support of instructors’ professional development through qualification enhancement programs, the implementation of mentoring formats of cooperation, and the introduction of reflective and digital support practices. It is substantiated that effective digital transformation of professional activity requires a comprehensive pedagogical strategy that combines innovative technologies, methodological flexibility, and personal engagement of the educator.
