Abstract
This collection of round table materials is dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Serhii Dmytrovych Maksymenko – an outstanding scholar, thinker, and founder of the national school of genetic psychology and the psychology of personality development in the learning process. The methodological guidelines established by Serhii Dmytrovych created a powerful foundation for further scientific advancements and for the conceptual understanding of the field of the psychology of learning and personality development. His works have become a profound source of conceptual orientations that continue to shape the contemporary trajectory of Ukrainian psychological science. The round table demonstrated the deep interest of the scientific community in the issues outlined by Academician S. D. Maksymenko and reflects a wide range of modern studies in the psychology of learning, development, and psychological support of the individual in wartime conditions and under social uncertainty. The presented materials highlight the relevance of the scholar’s methodological ideas regarding the psyche as a self-developing system capable of adaptation, self-regulation, and creative unfolding within a dynamic educational environment. The discussed topics encompass the psychological resources of personal development, support of mental health among participants in the educational process, the formation of stress resistance, resilience, motivational and cognitive components of personal growth, as well as the use of digital and media educational technologies to ensure psychological well-being and effective learning. This collection reflects the scientific community’s aspiration to continue and creatively develop the ideas of S. D. Maksymenko in the context of modern challenges, affirming educational psychology as a humanistic science focused on the preservation and development of the individual. The collection is intended for professional psychologists — researchers and practitioners, university lecturers, teachers and educators, and all those interested in the problems of contemporary educational psychology.
