Abstract

The twelfth issue of the series ‘Pedagogical Reprints’ is devoted to school museums — an important phenomenon in the educational space of the second half of the 20th century. The publication contains articles by Ukrainian educators, first published in professional pedagogical periodicals of that time, which highlight the organisation, functioning and role of school museums in the educational process. Readers will find materials on the creation of historical, local history, literary, and ethnographic exhibitions, methods of involving students in museum activities, as well as regulatory and methodological materials, in particular, regulations on school museums and recommendations for their certification. The publication will be useful for researchers, educators, museum and library specialists, as well as anyone researching the history of education and museum affairs in Ukraine.
