Abstract

The analytical review ‘Digital Paradigm of Educational Management’ was prepared in accordance with the tasks of the summarising stage of the applied scientific research ‘Information and Analytical Support for the Digital Transformation of Education and Pedagogy: Domestic and Foreign Experience’ (2023–2025), as well as for the implementation of the Strategy for the Digital Development of Innovative Activities in Ukraine for the period up to 2030 and the approval of the operational plan of measures for its implementation in 2025-2027 (Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1351-r of 31 December 2024) , the Strategy for the Development of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine for 2023-2027 (Decision of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine No. 1-1/1-2 of 7 April 2023) , the Concept for the Development of Open Science at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine for 2024-2030 (Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine No. 1-2/10-146 dated 22 August 2024) and others. One of the clusters of this research focuses on studying the methodology of information and analytical support for management processes in the context of digitalisation and digital transformation of education at both the Ukrainian and international levels. Digital discourse in this sense has been analysed and the main drivers of digitalisation and digital transformation in education have been identified: demand for digital content from educational and scientific entities; the emergence of a large number of digital educational resources – platforms, services, technologies, including those with artificial intelligence; the need to manage large data sets; the need to diagnose the digital components of educational processes; control of digital document flow and the introduction of appropriate digital technologies. The focus is on sources that highlight key aspects and shed light on the specifics of managing education at different levels – general secondary, vocational and higher education, etc. It is argued that the digital paradigm of educational management is in constant scientific and research discourse both in the context of managing the digitisation and digital transformation of education and directly in the digitisation and digital transformation of educational management processes themselves. It has been established that digital development covers such areas of scientific research as pedagogical management, intellectual management, innovation management, strategic management, adaptive management, etc. The expediency of applying innovative approaches to the management of educational environments and the development of new models of education management in the context of the digitalisation of the educational and scientific space is emphasised. The Ukrainian database of dissertations, monographs, scientific articles, etc. was reviewed. Analytical annotated overviews of the scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign researchers in the field of educational management of digital transformations were presented. The review materials are structured into four sections according to the following priority areas: ‘Digital scientific and research discourse on education management,’ ‘Management trends in the digital transformation of educational environments,’ ‘Educational management in the context of the digitalisation of training in industry’, ‘Transdisciplinary team building as a priority area of digital transformation of the educational and scientific space’.
