Abstract
The publication presents the Open Science Framework platform as a tool for developing the digital competence of researchers and research and pedagogical staff. We present the main functionalities and analyze the capabilities of this platform in the context of the development of digital competencies of researchers and research and teaching staff, comparing the characteristics of the Open Science Framework with the main components of the model. The components that are appropriate for the development of cross-disciplinary competence are identified. Despite the above advantages of the platform, its widespread implementation in the practice of scientific and pedagogical research may require solving certain problems. They relate to the need to develop programming skills, perform additional tasks related to documenting research stages, data confidentiality, and the lack of incentives for open exchange of research data. Solving these problems requires a comprehensive approach and coordinated actions by the government, higher education institutions, research institutions, business partners, and other stakeholders. These actions should be aimed at popularizing open science practices, FAI principles, training and support for researchers. Implementation of these approaches will help to improve the quality and transparency of domestic research and further Ukraine's integration into the European educational space.
