Abstract
The publication presents some recommendations for the development of digital competence of researchers and academic staff in the use of social and academic networks. Open educational and scientific information systems are an important tool for the development of digital literacy, providing access to modern scientific and educational resources. Platforms that provide access to scientific materials, support interdisciplinary communications, and facilitate the creation of international academic communities play a special role in the development of digital competence of scientists. In particular, platforms such as LinkedIn, ResearchGate, and Academia.edu actively support professionals in finding cooperation, sharing research achievements and publications, and help them establish connections in academic circles. The use of such platforms allows not only to share scientific results but also contributes to the development of digital skills necessary for effective professional activity. The use of modern digital technologies and social networks is an important step in the development of digital competence of scientists, which contributes not only to their professional growth but also to the overall progress in science and education.
