Abstract

The methodological principles of using artificial intelligence services to generate presentations for the professional development of teachers are based, in the conducted study, on three ways of using artificial intelligence (AI) services of this type: for the professional needs of the teacher, for the educational process (self-generated presentations and AI services as teaching aids). It was found that presentations are one of the most common teaching aids in martial law conditions in Ukraine. At the same time, they will be relevant during synchronous and asynchronous learning modes. Therefore, the problem of saving time for creating presentations is entirely appropriate, given the significant number of topics for which the teacher develops them. An analysis of recent studies and publications showed a lack of methods for teachers to use this type of AI services, despite a broad overview of individual services and their general overview in the electronic training course "Artificial Intelligence in the Activities of a Vocational Education Teacher". Using generated presentations using AI services involves the following teaching methods: visual, explanatory-illustrative, reproductive, and frontal. In this case, the following forms of learning will be appropriate: face-to-face, distance, blended, group, and frontal. Let's consider another way - as a means of education. It is better to familiarize students with the basic principles of the operation of AI services within the framework of lessons/electives/consultations on computer science. Then, the following teaching methods will be appropriate: verbal (explanation, lecture), visual (demonstration, illustration), and practical (laboratory work). The use of AI services to generate presentations within the professional needs of a teacher is implemented for preparation for parent meetings, speech at a methodological district seminar, speech at a scientific event, preparation for a pedagogical meeting, completion of tasks, and preparation during advanced training courses. The study outlines the advantages of AI services for generating presentations and the algorithm (sequence of steps) for their use. The article selects and offers a list of free AI services for generating presentations with links to the main pages. The main selection criterion was free (conditionally free services were not considered).
