Abstract

The article examines the institutional role of the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine within the framework of contemporary museum practices aimed at preserving historical memory through digital tools. Using the online project "Ukrainian Educators – Participants of World War II" as a case study, the methodology of integrating museum collections (documents, photographs) into virtual products is explored. The criteria for selection of personalities are analyzed, including the availability of unique materials, anniversary relevance, and visualization strategies (graphic layouts with archival stylistic elements). The project, implemented via social media and a virtual exhibition, demonstrates the transformation of traditional museological communication into a digital format, ensuring accessibility, interactivity, and resistance to historical revisionism. The effectiveness of museum online initiatives in fostering critical thinking and strengthening national identity is substantiated.
