Abstract
The monograph presents the results of the first stage of a scientific research project on "Evaluating the Quality of University Research Activities Based on the Principles and Approaches of Open Science in the Context of Post-War Recovery" (State Registration Number 0124U001192). The monograph explores key dimensions and priorities for enhancing the evaluation of university research quality based on the principles and approaches of open science, particularly in the context of post-war recovery. It covers: policies and mechanisms for assessing university research activities within an open science framework (Chapter 1); theoretical foundations of research evaluation in open science (Chapter 2); methodological approaches to assessing scientists' research activities through responsible open science (Chapter 3); evaluation of young researchers' activities in the open science ecosystem (Chapter 4); assessment of universities' research performance in relation to regional engagement (Chapter 5); theoretical foundations of research integrity evaluation within open science (Chapter 6); intellectual property protection in the context of research quality assessment (Chapter 7); the impact of the study on public policy and the advancement of science in Ukraine (Chapter 8). This monograph is intended for a broad audience, including representatives of the academic community, scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions, researchers from academic and scientific organizations, professionals in funding agencies, policymakers, and public officials responsible for science, research, and higher education in Ukraine.
