Abstract
The article states that the modernization of the education system requires the organization and construction of new forms of educational activity that have a research orientation. It is shown that creative (or research) education, which isbased on the child's independent acquisition of knowledge about the surrounding world, is the most natural and productive form of education for gifted children. It is emphasized that the forms of work on research education should be varied: this means the formation of personal or communicative universal educational actions as a result of individual or group work with children - a combination of these forms is also possible. One of the important conditions for the complete immersion of gifted children in the learning process is revealed - the realization in school education of the need for research and search activity, where their ingenuity and cleverness are revealed. The main task of the teacher is determined, which consists in the appropriate construction of the educational process: taking into account the individual characteristics of children, the development of their abilities, as well as providing a psychological basis for the comprehensive realization of these abilities in the future.
