Abstract
Digitalization and implementation of the concept of open science create new opportunities for improving the quality of education and research, directing them to meet the needs of society. Open science involves free access to research results, open collaboration, public involvement in scientific processes, and adherence to the principles of transparency and responsibility. Particular attention is paid to changing approaches to evaluating research activities, developing a research culture, and creating innovative infrastructures. In this regard, it is necessary to update the program of training future teachers and researchers to work in open science, which will help to improve their professional competence and research culture.
