Abstract

The article focuses on the issue of developing students’ civic and social competences through the use of modern textbooks. Civic and social competences are among the key components of the competence framework for students in general secondary education institutions. In contemporary realities, the problem of fostering civic and social competences in young people has gained particular relevance, as these competences are essential for overcoming the challenges posed by war. Civic and social competences enable students to adapt to wartime conditions and effectively interact with other members of society. The development of these key competences has become a priority for modern textbooks.
