Abstract

Introduction. The study of women's life positions and their relationship with various women's attitudes to money is becoming particularly relevant today due to the social and economic tension caused by the raging war in Ukraine. Aim: to analyze the levels of women's life positions and their relationship with women's types of money beliefs and money attitudes. Methods: J. Hay Windows to the World, A. Furnham Money Beliefs and Behavior Scale (MBBS) (modified by M. Simkiv), T.L. Tang Money Ethics Scale (MES) (modified by M. Simkiv). Results. Women's life positions were found to be at high, medium, and low levels. Women's life positions "I'm OK - You're OK (Confident)", "I'm not OK - You're OK (Helpful)", "I'm OK - You're not OK (Aggressive)", "I'm not OK - You're not OK (Indifferent)" had positive and negative statistically significant relationships with women's money beliefs (money obsession, power, economy, inappropriate money behavior), money attitudes (money as good, money as evil, money as a means of achieving success, money as a respect factor, planning expenses, money as a means of achieving freedom and power). Conclusions. The obtained results can be helpful in developing educational and training programs as well as in researching women's self-attitudes, attitudes to money, and attitudes to other people both within and outside organizations, etc.
