Abstract
This publication reveals the features of the manifestation of value orientations of happiness, well-being, and social revival in Ukrainian cyberspace. The research methodology includes a review and generalization of scientific studies on the relevance of the concepts of well-being and happiness for Ukrainians during the war, relevant publications in media sources since 2022–2024 on the chosen topic, and content analysis of specific data sets of news content from three Ukrainian media platforms – "Ukrainska Pravda", "Radio Svoboda" and "Suspilne". It is revealed that the mass media contribute to the formation of emotional frustration and life confusion among users due to the predominant broadcasting of "war narratives." The final ranking of words for three significant dates over three years of war in the news feed of "Ukrainska Pravda" is as follows: Ukraine, Zelenskyi, Russians, Russian, war, USA, Russia, Kyiv, military, Ukrainian, strike, recovery. The final ranking of the most repeated words in the news for three selected dates – January 1, August 24, and September 1, 2022–2024, in the headlines of the news feed of "Radio Svoboda" is: Ukraine, military, Russian, year, Russia, shelling, Ukrainian, troops, rockets, region, AFU, attacks, president, USA, independence. The most frequently used words in the headlines of "Suspilne" news on the specified dates are the following: year, Ukraine, Russian, regions, human, military, new, Ukrainian, attack, Kherson, shelling, and news. Media education and information literacy are important because the choice of ecological media and resource media content is the prerogative of information consumers themselves. It is proposed that the well-being of Ukrainian society is inextricably connected with its subjectivity, which, in turn, relies on Ukrainians’ psychological maturity and subjective position. Therefore, educational initiatives that contribute to the development of youth subjectivity are an important step toward the maturation of society. Happiness during wartime is possible and an appropriate individual and social value orientation. The value orientations of happiness and well-being of Ukrainians serve as a resource for the nation during difficult times of war and a guide for further individual and collective activities.
