Abstract
Finland is considered one of the most successful countries also in terms of the development of entrepreneurial competence of teachers, as much attention is paid to the inclusion of entrepreneurial education in teacher training programs, that is, teachers study the basics of entrepreneurship, business planning, and project management. The Finnish government invests heavily in the continuous professional development of teachers, including courses and trainings on the development of entrepreneurial competence. A useful practice is the close cooperation of schools with local enterprises and organizations, thanks to which teachers have the opportunity to undergo internships at enterprises, study business processes and acquire practical experience of entrepreneurship.
