Abstract
The authors revealed the multifaceted nature of the digital potential of the university and its role in the development of effective digital educational ecosystems for the implementation of innovative models and pedagogical technologies for the professional development of scientific and pedagogical personnel; the regulatory and legal principles that form the basis for the development of digital security policy in pedagogical higher education institutions are summarized. The structure and content of digital security competences as a component of the digital competence of teachers of higher pedagogical education institutions are substantiated; the data on the diagnosis of the level of mastery of digital security competencies by the students of higher education are highlighted, the directions of training of teachers of higher pedagogical education institutions for digital security in the post-war period are predicted. For applicants of institutions of higher education, as well as master's students, postgraduate students, scientific and pedagogical workers - everyone who is interested in the issues of digital security in modern society and strives to form and improve it in the process of professional training, advanced training and in the system of continuous education and adult education.
