Abstract

The article describes post-traumatic stress disorder and identifies its symptoms. The peculiarities of psychological assistance to children in war conditions are revealed. The main psycho-traumatic effects of war, which disturb the physical and mental state of a person, are listed. The main signs of PTSD and secondary symptoms, manifested in the form of depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior, somatic problems, etc., have been identified. It is noted that when symptoms of PTSD appear, psychological help from specialists is necessary.
