Abstract

The report presents the positive results of G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of NAES activity on psychological support of the population of Ukraine during the war. This volunteer activity is implemented by the organization created in 2014 and named the Institute's Crisis Center for Medical and Psychological Assistance and employees of all departments under the direct supervision and coordination of the Institute directorate. The important directions of work are emphasized, namely social and psychological support of Ukrainian citizens temporarily displaced abroad; methodical support of the activities of psychologists and their training; training of managers and employees of educational institutions for psychological support of the educational process in the conditions of war; psychological assistance to military personnel; interaction with international organizations; prospects for further activities of Institute for providing psychological support to the population during the war. The results of psychological assistance to the population during mass scientific and practical events provided by the work plan of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute are covered.
