Abstract
The article summarizes the results of research and publications on the use of gamification in education in higher education institutions. It is confirmed that with the advent of Computer Technology, students and cadets ' motivation for traditional teaching methods paradoxically began to decline rapidly. Attention is drawn to the fact that game teaching methods significantly motivate and interest adults in learning. The phenomenon of play is established, which consists in the fact that being entertainment, recreation, it is able to develop into learning, creativity, a model of the type of human relations and manifestations in work. Based on the previously obtained positive effect in teaching students and students in the work, a hypothesis is put forward about the possibility of obtaining a similar effect of training cadets when using game methods. The organization and training of officers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the security and defense sector is carried out on the basis of the law of Ukraine "on higher education" and departmental normative legal acts, which determine the phenomenal difference from the training of students in higher education institutions. To overcome the phenomenal features, the purpose of the article is defined – to summarize the actual problems of applying gamification in training in higher military educational institutions. It is established that at present there is no unified concept of the model of building educational systems with elements of gamification, a general conceptual framework has not been developed, methods and tools for assessing the educational effect that a cadet and a teacher of higher educational institutions should receive have not been defined. So, an important aspect of gamification is the development of the game not for the sake of the game, but to achieve the set educational goals. Despite the identified generalized actual problems of applying gamification in training in higher military educational institutions, it is still an actual and promising direction of individual pedagogical creative activity of the teacher within the permitted dynamic range. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time the actual problems of applying gamification of training in higher military educational institutions are analyzed.
