Abstract
The publication explores the basics of modeling electronic document flow using information and digital technologies and its implementation in scientific institutions. When choosing software tools, an important aspect is the ease of working with them and a friendly interface. In this regard, priority is given to the software environment to which the user is accustomed. Accordingly, Windows SharePoint Services is the best fit, because the work in it can be organized in the Microsoft Office environment, which is the most common. On the basis of Windows SharePoint Services, you can create a corporate web portal for hosting documents that are used simultaneously. Data in SharePoint is organized in the form of lists and document libraries, which allows you to define templates for all types of documents, bind them to the corresponding libraries and, thus, ensure the possibility of creating uniform documents by different users. Windows SharePoint Services has built-in means of distinguishing access rights, which make it possible to detail permissions and the method of access to information resources. The results of scientific research should be elaborated, summarized and disseminated using modern information and digital technologies, and electronic document circulation, as a system of data transmission means, should ensure an increase in the efficiency of documenting scientific research.
