Abstract
The transition from the paradigm of knowledge, skills and abilities to the competent one has changed motivation persons to study. Let's formulate the problem of dissertation research: understand the methodological concept of training and formation. how to ensure a person's motivation for self-education. The material of the article is a logical result of scientific policy, which conducted within the framework of scientific programs: national development doctrine education in Ukraine; state national program "Education" (Ukraine XXI the law of Ukraine "on higher education"; main scientific directions and the most important problems of basic research in the field of Natural Sciences, technical and humanitarian Sciences for 2009-2013, aimed at solving the following problems: problems of professional training of scientists.
