Abstract

The article describes the course of an experimental study of the level of formation of interpretive processes in respondents of all ages and the correlation of this factor with the configurations of leading metacognitions. The study is a survey according to standardized methods. The survey revealed a negative reaction of many adult respondents to the tasks presented. These reactions testify to the lack of narrative competence and training of adult subjects. The methodology has been corrected.
