Abstract
The publication analyzes the use of the InCites service as a performance evaluation tool. A whole system of scientometric indicators has been created to evaluate the activity of scientists, the effectiveness of their work and their importance for scientific development. These indicators are successfully used to evaluate the effectiveness of the activities of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers and further management decisions in the field of education and science. To solve the above-mentioned problem, one of the most popular international scientometric databases is the abstract database Web of Science, which constantly develops new tools for scientists at the organizational, regional, and international levels. One such solution is the InCites Benchmarking & Analytics web service, created by Clarivate Analytics to analyze information on the evaluation of scientific publications and implement effective strategies in this area. The InCites analytical system is a relevant tool for evaluating the effectiveness of scientific and pedagogical activities, which can be used to determine the role of scientific research and the effectiveness of proposed solutions. This is a specialized web tool for evaluating scientific research, which helps to develop a strategy for conducting it. InCites allows you to analyze the effectiveness of the work of organizations in the field of education and science, track joint activities, find relevant research issues, demonstrate strengths and open new opportunities.
