Abstract

The publication analyzes the use of the Manuscript Matcher service in EndNote regarding the selection of potential journals by authors for scientific publication. EndNote is a commercial bibliographic information management system that is used to manage references and bibliographies, allowing them to be formatted according to numerous citation standards. The manufacturing company is Clarivate Analytics (now, formerly Thomson Reuters. Using sophisticated algorithms and data from the Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports, Manuscript Matcher identifies the most relevant and influential journals to which scientists can submit their manuscripts.
