Abstract

The paper analyzes the application of the Elsevier Journal Finder service as a tool for authors to search for a journal for scientific publication. With the help of the Elsevier Journal Finder service, scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers can find the ideal journal that best matches the research topic for publishing the results of their scientific work. In order to automate the process of recording the results of scientific activity of scientists, as well as to facilitate the simplification of the procedure for publishing these results, scientific organizations should pay special attention to the use of such systems. The introduction and use of new information and digital technologies requires further research on the use of open access electronic systems.
