Abstract
The article considers general approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research using information and digital technologies. The author classified the digitally available methodology for evaluating educational and scientific works into groups according to the characteristics and stages of analysis and monitoring of the effectiveness of pedagogical research. The classification and conclusions of the article are based on the publications of domestic contemporary scientists and foreign scientists and educators (UNESCO research group). Digital libraries and information-analytical systems can be used at the initial stage of the study of the effectiveness of the work (selected hypothesis, relevance of the topic, research issues). To assess the effectiveness of scientific and educational work in general (the final result of the study) use scientometric analysis, altermetric analysis, mathematical evaluation method, which are implemented using modern information and digital technologies. The author presented an analysis of approaches that are actively used today to assess the effectiveness of pedagogical research, taking into account the level of methodology (empirical or theoretical), the main characteristics (purpose and stage of pedagogical research). Each approach to evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research was analyzed in an article illustrating examples. Examples were presented on the basis of the proposed classification of approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research using information and digital technologies. The author used as a comparison a comparison of general approaches to evaluation and explored the prospects for further research on specific topics and issues. It is projected that the integration of information and digital technologies will become a major reference point in the pedagogy of the 21st century. The main task of domestic scientists will be to learn from the experience of European colleagues in order to improve the process of evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research and the effectiveness of an individual scientist (author of scientific work, pedagogical research) or a group of researchers in science and education.
