Abstract
The author emphasizesthe features of educational texts which impact the self-actualization of students. The psychological conditions of textbook texts enhancing the development of students' personalities have been analyzed. The work highlights the significance of a "living", paperback, a school textbook as well as a fairy-tale as tools to solving disciplinary, developmental,and educational tasks and motivating students to engage in personaldevelopment.
