Abstract

This year marks the 145th anniversary of the birth of Yakiv Feofanovych Chepiha (Zelenkevych) - a Ukrainian teacher, psychologist, methodologist, public figure, who was once known not only in Ukraine but also abroad. Yakiv Chepiga worked selflessly in the field of education, but this did not save him from the repression of Stalin's totalitarian system. He left a significant pedagogical legacy - more than 150 works. Now his name and pedagogical ideas are returned to education by the efforts of modern scientists.
