Abstract
The specific features of psychocorrection as the main direction of work with children to overcome neurotic disorders are outlined. It is claimed that psychological correction is a change of the unfavorable tendencies at a child's personal development which is aimed at eliminating the causes and sources of developmental deviations. The author states that involvement all significant adults (educators and preschoolers' parents) in the psycho-correction work allows achieving the most positive effect. This article discusses the issue of behavioral, emotional and cognitive methods of psycho-correction neurotic disorders as the most accessible types of activity for preschool children. Using of these methods facilitates solving children’s internal conflicts and creates an opportunity for a weakening of tension at the subconscious level. The paper concentrates on the correction techniques of neurotic fear manifestations in preschoolers: imitation and connection, emotional swings, emotional conflict, activity correction, manipulating the subject of fear, etc. The author explores the principles of psycho-correction work with children of preschool age. The author analyzes forms of work with children to overcome neurotic disorders: individual, group, individual-group. Directions of a practical psychologist’s work at a preschool institution of overcoming neurotic disorders in children are outlined: psychological prevention, counseling parents and educators, corrective work with children who have expressed forms of neurotic feelings and disorders. Stages of psycho-correction work on overcoming the neurotic disorders in preschool children are described: organizational and informational, psycho-correctional, educational.
