Abstract

The article analyze analyzes theoretical and methodological features of the students self-determination. In the article has been explained that self-determination is a relatively independent stage of socialization, the essence of which is to establish the individual`s sense of the purpose and meaning in life, a readiness for independent livelihoods based on the ratio of their desires, available qualities, opportunities and requirements on the part of others and society. Confirmed that professional self-determination is one of the key pillars of economic self-determination of the individual, in particular students. Also established that in the modern consciousness, professional self-determination of students is considered not only as a specific choice of profession, but also as a continuous process of finding meaning in the professional activity that is selected, mastered and performed.
