Abstract

The manual considers theoretical and practical research of the problem of methods of teaching the syntax of the Ukrainian language to students of 8-9 grades on the basis of personality-oriented, activity and competence approaches. Considerable attention is paid to the characteristics of methods, techniques, forms and means of teaching the syntax of the Ukrainian language to students of 8-9 grades. Special attention is paid to text work in Ukrainian language lessons in the conditions of competence approach. The author's method of teaching the syntax of the Ukrainian language to students of 8-9 grades is presented. The manual is addressed to teachers of the Ukrainian language, students of philological faculties, graduate students and teachers.
