Abstract
Introduction. Today the main task of the education system is the formation of the person, capable to live in conditions of changes that constantly strives to develop creative, to perceive new information and to take responsibility for their own decisions. The readiness of graduates of professional (vocational) educational institutions for professional self-development depends on the process of overcoming the economic crisis, the progressive development of society and the development of personal professional career. Methods. Analysis, systematization and synthesis of the results of the study of scientific sources; Quantitative and qualitative content analysis of the definition of «readiness». Results. The analysis of the essential content and components of the concept of «readiness» in the context of the training of future technicians-programmers for professional self-determination is carried out. The essence of the concept of «readiness» as a component of professional training of future technicians-programmers is determined. Originality. It was found out that the formation of readiness is revealed as a process of creating the necessary experience, skills and motivational determinants, which provide an opportunity to effectively carry out professional activities. The existence of direct relationships and dependencies between the state of readiness and the efficiency of activity was revealed. Conclusion. The term «readiness» should be considered as an integral system or a multilateral, multifactorial, socially deterministic and psychologically oriented multilevel process, in which, based on certain permanent contradictions, the formation of the individual takes place, its cognitive, moral, creative, supersituative activity is formed. The readiness of future technicians-programmers for professional self-development is a complex, dynamic phenomenon and needs to be filled with the meaning of the future professional activity of these professionals.
