Abstract
The complex pedagogical model of monitoring of the levels of formation of the senior special school students' subject biological competence is presented. The significance of the internal school monitoring in modern school education, carried out at the initiative of the educational institution itself, is based on the possibility of using its results within the limits of a particular educational institution with the aim of improving pupils' educational achievements , planning of further school activities.
