Abstract
The article analyzes the results of a longitudinal study of teachers and graduates of the lyceum on how changes in the socio-economic life of the country and the school education system change the views of respondents on the results of school education. Also, author considers at how the participation of the teaching staff in experimental work of the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Education Quality of the Institute of Pedagogy affects for the Teachers Professional Development in the Lyceum. The results of the comparative study of the portrait of the teaching staff of the educational institution indicate the differences between the target orientations, and, accordingly, the views on the results of learning and the needs of students and teachers. The cooperation of scientists with the pedagogical team gives grounds to conclude that the teachers of this educational institution are participants in experimental and experimental work. They act as authors, researchers and users of innovations.
