Abstract
The Article is devoted to the issues of representation in the concept of «New Ukrainian school» (NUS) continuity between the primary and primary levels in terms of ensuring the safety of the school educational environment. The concepts of safety, psychological safety, security of educational space, features of development and learning conditions in the transition to the main stage of secondary school are considered. The risks of this transition period and the ways of their propaedeutics, which are provided in the concept of NUS, are noted. It is concluded that the concept of NUS at the level of basic secondary education is aimed at providing a new, safer educational space for the development and education of schoolchildren.
