Abstract

The development of academician I.A. Zyazyun’s science school «Teacher excellence» in the last quarter of XX - beginning of XXI century has been analyzed in the retrospective aspect. It reveals its links with other authors’ schools (Academician A.A. Zaharenka), traces the influence of the concept of pedagogical excellence on the modernization of teacher education in Ukraine. The author has characterized the educational and methodical complex «Pedagogical excellence» that includes 2 curriculums, text-books, educational and methodical manuals and a reading-book.
