Abstract
The comparative analysis of the current and the new draft State standard from the profession 4113 «Operator of information and software processing» is carried out. According to his results, the author states that the basis of professional competence of future skilled workers of the 1st and 2nd category is the information-analytical activity. The article states that in the submitted for discussion the project, developed on a competent basis, expanded the functions of future operators of information processing and software. The critical analysis of the Typical Curriculum contained in the draft State Standard made it possible to identify certain disadvantages: the discrepancy between the key competencies that should be formed by future workers was replaced by a list of professional personal qualities; terminological uncertainty (the term «professional competence» is used in the plural, which suggests the training of skilled workers with several professional competencies). Based on the results of scientific research, collection, processing and analysis of information obtained from various sources, the author constructed a structural-functional model of the future skilled worker from the profession of 4113 «Operator of information and software processing» of a new type (2017). It is based on informational and analytical activities that correlate with professional competence. This model has practical value - it enables the timely introduction of corrections in the content of teaching by practicing teachers, the development of teaching and methodological support, the introduction of modern methods and technologies in the pedagogical process, which can positively affect the quality of the professional training of skilled workers of the profession in question for different branches of the national economy.
