Abstract

On October 13, 2017, during the VIII All-Ukrainian scientific conference "Problems of Political Psychology and Its Role in the Formation of a Citizen of the Ukrainian State", the problem of the psychological essence of the phenomenon of historical memory, which is the subject of interdisciplinary research. The leading scientists of the Institute of social and political psychology of the National academy of educational sciences of Ukraine and other specialists carried out a number of reports and discussed questions of archetypes and the historical canvas of the formation of historical memory; historical memory and politics of history; the personal significance of historical memory; national discord as a quasi-national idea in historical memory; historical stereotypes as a means of getting rid of painful transformations of collective consciousness; historical resonance of individual and group consciousness; factors of the formation of ethnonation in the historical perspective, etc.
