Abstract

The article covers the main results of the research among almost 1300 Ukrainian teachers of primary schools regarding the use of ICT by them in practice, which took part in 2014-2015 school year. The aim of the study was to determine the current state of the implementation of modern ICT tools, including electronic educational resources (EER) in the educational process of Ukrainian primary schools. The author reveals the state of material and technical support of primary schools, the teachers’ preparedness for these innovations, when and why they use ICT tools in practice. It is also represented the types of EER that the teachers use and the impact of new technical tools implementation on students and teachers. The study helps to identify some advantages and difficulties of the use of ICT in primary schools of Ukraine and possible solutions.
