Abstract
The article deals with the problems of formation of a cloud-based learning and research environment in higher educational institution. The types of the cloud-based environment are determined; the types of the cloud-based services that can be used in its structure and design are revealed; the model of the cloud-based learning and research environment of educational institution is substantiated with three main kinds of services such as communication; common (general) use; special (domain) use. The guidelines for the environment formation, taking into account the different types of service deployment model; methods, tools and forms of learning, different types of services are proposed. The purpose of the article is to justify the theoretical background and guidelines for the formation of the cloud-based learning and research environment of higher educational institution. The object of the study is the process of the cloud-based learning and research environment formation in a higher educational institution. The subject of research are methodological aspects of the cloud based learning and research environment and its components formation with the use of different types of services. Conclusions: creating of the cloud-based learning and research environment formation in a higher educational institution is a methodologically appropriate approach that will improve access to software and electronic resources modernize the learning process, achieve better results.
