Abstract

The historical, cultural, social and political factors in the formation of Ukrainian folklore conditions of university education in the second half of the XIX century are analyzed in this article. The activities of the most active non-governmental organizations, associations, committees are studied, the value of periodicals, books , collections of folk literature texts is disclosed, the activities of the departments in the formation context of the scientific and pedagogical folklore study foundations are characterized. Author substantiates the idea that these factors are identified priority study of folk literature in the preparation of future teachers, linguists and historians in a classical university education.
