Abstract

The publication analyzes the use of an electronic portfolio as a means of presenting the results of the activities of a scientific and pedagogical worker. The concepts of "portfolio" and "portfolio technology" are defined. Different types and functions of the electronic portfolio are considered. The functions, principles of formation and rules for compiling an electronic portfolio are presented. An electronic portfolio as a means of presenting the results of scientific and pedagogical activity is both a didactic and methodological complex designed for a more perfect organization of the educational process and a tool for monitoring the professional growth of a teacher, correction and self-correction, which in combination contributes to the improvement of his/her professionalism.
