Abstract

The educational and methodological manual is based on the text-centric model of education, which is based on axiological, competence-based, personally oriented and activity-based approaches. The implementation of the text-centric model of education involves the formation of a valuable humanistic worldview in Ukrainian school pupils from the standpoint of the national interests of Ukraine, the formation of identity and civic qualities, key competencies and the most important skills of the 21st century in view of the active expression of these skills. The educational and methodological manual consists of the following two parts: methodological recommendations and texts of patriotic content. Didactic apparatus related to the work of students of grades 5-11 of general secondary education institutions with texts is also provided. The book is addressed to teachers, methodologists, students, their parents, authors of programs and textbooks, scientists, teachers, students of professional and higher education institutions, managers, politicians, and the public. The book was published at the authors' own expense.
