Abstract

The problem of the modern methodology of literature, which consists in finding effective methods of studying the writer's biography, is updated. Model curricula on Ukrainian literature and integrated literary courses were analyzed. It has been proven that the introduction to the textual study of the works of modern Ukrainian writers contributes to the formation in students of the concept of the artist's personality, interest in reading, and the development of their reading interests and preferences.
